Importing music, videos and images
Summary
Moblin automatically finds all the media on your computer but that’s not much use if you can’t get it onto your device. There are three main ways to get closer to your content; attach by USB, copy from another computer and connect over your local network.
Attach by USB
If you have a USB stick or hard drive (similar to one you may have used to install Moblin Netbook yourself) you can copy music, video or pictures onto it and plug it in to one of the USB ports on your netbook. A File Manager window will automatically pop up and we will look through the drive for any media files. You can either copy the content onto the ‘Music’, ‘Videos’ or ‘Pictures’ directories on your computer or play it directly from the USB drive. If you decide to do that we’ll remember what was on the drive so we can find it faster next time.
Copy from another computer
If you have another computer with lots of media you want to get onto your netbook you can Share it from your old computer and find it under the Networks button in the File manager, so long as both computers are connected to the same network.
We can’t help you specifically with other computer operating systems but if you’re using Windows you can normally share a file or folder by right clicking it and choosing ‘Share’. In OS X you should start System Preferences and choose ‘Sharing’.
Once you’ve found the computer you want to copy files from and logged in to the content it’s happy to share you can copy this to your computer’s ‘Music’, ‘Videos’ or ‘Pictures’ directories.
Connect over your local network
If you have a computer or network hard disk that supports sharing your media over the DLNA or UPnP standards then the Media Player will automatically detect it and allow you to play content without any further setup. It’ll appear as a remote library on the sidebar of your media player. In future you’ll be able to share content yourself using this standard and even remote control some speakers and players.

Visual look of the file browser
After fiddling with the file browser for a while now, I was quite dissapointed by the overall functionality and visual look of the browser.
As the my zone and the main applications seem to be looking pretty decent, it's clear that (at least in my opinion) the file browsing and especially all the settings -panels need a heck of a lot more work for the final rc.
At the moment they're just too amateurish and very, very unpolished. In one term, I'd describe them very "linuxy". As I'm understanding that this is still a beta release, I hope that attention is also paid to the minor aspects of the moblin user interface for it to really compete and outshine other mobile os's.
Can't Transfer 2 :P
I second that. I need NTFS-3G or something similar to get this going...oh and OpenOffice and Skype. Then we should be all good.
Can't Transfer
There is no NTFS support, so, Moblin wont read the HD that may files are on.
