Ability to turn volume up or down, mute, and turn alert sounds on or off.
You access the volume control panel via the toolbar, by simply clicking a volume icon.

The volume control panel is divided into 2 key areas. On the left hand side is a slider, and on the right you can quickly mute and turn alert sounds on and off. Alert sounds are noises made by applications to let you know what’s going on (e.g. A new email has arrived).

Low output volume
I have the same problem on my EeePC 901, the volume is maxed, but I can hardly hear any sound.
Line out volume
On my Eee PC 1000H, sound is a bit quiet. On Ubuntu I've managed to get higher sounds by voluming up the lineout. Is there a way to do that on Moblin?
