Media Panel

The media panel displays your recently played and viewed media files. The media panel also allows you to control and view your local and remote playlists.

The Media Panel

Access the media panel via the toolbar, by clicking the media icon.

The media panel has 3 areas, at the top is a search bar, underneath is an area for media thumbnails, and the right-hand side is dedicated to playlists.

The media search bar is a quick search for all your media-related content.

The thumbnail area displays your recently played items. If you enter a search query, your recently played items are replaced by the query results. By clicking an image or video file you open the Media Player. If the item is a music file, when you hover on it you will get the option to play or pause it if it is already playing.

Playlists are essentially playback lists (queues) for all your media contents. Please see the Moblin Media Player for detailed information on playlists.
