Moblin provides a completely self-hosted tool-chain for the purpose of building each component in the O/S.
Moblin has a dedicated, self-hosted, self-maintained and three-phase built tool-chain, which is primarily used to build moblin releases. However, the tool-chain is also provided as an “fset” in MIC to developers.
No additional details are available at this point, as we continue to evolve and develop our build infrastructure for moblin.

when can we get a git-tree-based source code tree that we can build moblin from source instead of just the SDK and binary images?
check android, which provides step by step instructions to build everything from scratch, i wish moblin will be able to catch up on that, sometime soon.
and, why do you need 3-stage compilation? strange.
