The Moblin in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) community is an open source community to share software technologies, ideas, projects, code and applications for creating Open Infotainment Platforms that can be deployed across a variety of IVI systems. Open Infotainment Platforms (OIP) enable the automotive industry to create one common hardware and software architecture that can scale across product lines and generations. As a result, product upgrades are simplified, which accelerates time-to-market and enables more investment in innovative software development of new services and applications.
