Linux Foundation License Agreements

To contribute code to Moblin or any Moblin project, you are required to sign and return a Linux Foundation license agreement that grants copyright and patent licenses to the Linux Foundation. No code contributions can be accepted and integrated into Moblin without a signed agreement on file. This license is for your protection as a contributor as well as the protection of the Linux Foundation and its users; it does not change your rights to use your own contributions for any other purpose.

Signing and returning one of the agreements does not automatically qualify your code to be included in Moblin. As an open source project, your code will be reviewed and integrated by the Moblin community on its merit and quality.

There are two license agreements available, but only one is necessary to sign and return depending on your level of contributions.

Linux Foundation Contributor Agreement
The "Linux Foundation Moblin Workgroup Individual or Corporate Contributor License Agreement v1.0" is intended for individuals or corporations contributing to Moblin through project maintainers. Contributions can be submitted in various forms depending on the maintainers preference. The contributor agreement can be executed on behalf of an individual, by a corporation to authorize a designated list of employees to contribute to Moblin, or by a corporation to cover all employees' contributions to Moblin.

Linux Foundation Committer's Agreement
The "Linux Foundation Committer¹s Agreement v1.0" allows individuals to submit code directly to a Moblin project repository or to become a direct maintainer. Individuals will have to show prior contributions to Moblin or other open source projects before being considered for this agreement.
